Mr. Murphy holds a Bachelor of Science (Business Administration) degree from Bowling Green State University. Mr. Murphy served as a senior manager in the sand blasting and metal preservation industry for fourteen years before joining Earl Industries in 1992 to co-found United Coatings Corporation, the predecessor firm to the United Coatings Division of Earl Industries. Under his leadership, the United Coatings Division has become the nation’s leading state-of-the-art metal preservation company utilizing the latest coatings and the latest technology such as ultra-high pressure (UHP) water blasting.
