SENIOR DATABASE PROGRAMMER
  • Min. 10 yrs. experience with MS SQL Server 2005 and earlier editions.
  • Must have recent experience with SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Reporting Services, query optimization, database backup & restoration, SQL Profiler, linked servers and other SQL server features.
  • Successful candidate must have experience connecting to and retrieving data from Oracle database.
  • Must be proficient with Visual Studio .NET C# and Visual Basic languages.
  • Position includes writing custom reports for all departments in the organization so excellent personal skills are critical.
ENGINEERING TECHNICIAN – EB017
  • Five (5) years experience in the following: (1) Project mgmt., (2) PLC logic & programming with Siemens, AB Rockwell, Modicon, Omron, etc., (3) HMI or SCADA programming and configuration of any of the following software packages: Wonderware, Rockwell, intellution, GE Cimplicity, Ci-Tech, Siemens, Web Studio, etc.
  • Experience reading, re-lining and producing electrical schematics and P&ID drawings.
  • Shipboard experience a plus.
  • Must be able to work and communicate effectively with team members & company employees.
  • Able to lift at least 40 pounds.

Description :
  • Work with Project Engineers/Engineering Technicians to develop electrical equipt./systems.
  • Participate in installation, testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of electrical equipt./systems.
  • Set up, perform and document electrical test as required (electrical hook ups for electrical service and test instruments).
  • Assure that test equipment is properly calibrated.

SWITCHBOARD ENGINEER (Earl Beach Panel & Controls)

Provide engineering and project management support to design, engineer, estimate, manage, and install engineering projects associated with shipboard switchboards and shipboard power distribution.
  • Electrical panel layout and electrical design
  • Development of bill of materials and wiring drawings and schematics
  • Project management including project estimating, scheduling and tracking
  • Design shipboard electrical switchboards and associated power distribution
  • Development and implementation of standard engineering documentation including job bid packages, engineering drawings, test plans, technical manuals, etc.

Minimum Qualifications :
  • A minimum of 5 years experience in designing shipboard switchboards and shipboard power distribution is required
  • BS in Electrical Engineering is required.
  • Able to lift 40lbs.
  • Must be able to work aboard vessels, climb ladders, work in tanks and other confined spaces.
