Earl Industries is selected for Newport News Shipbuilding Supplier Delegated Inspection Program (SDI)
Portsmouth, VA. – Earl Industries announced today that it has been selected by Huntington Ingalls Industries, Newport News Shipbuilding of Newport News, VA for its Supplier Delegated Inspection Program (SDI).
The SDI designation allows Earl Industries to provide source inspection services on behalf of Newport News Shipbuilding. This prestigious distinction is afforded by NNS to those suppliers which have demonstrated a consistently high level of quality in the products provided to NNS.
Earl Industries, Manufacturing Division is ISO 9001- 2008 and AS9100B- 2004 certified and has been a primary supplier to NNS for over 10 years supplying marine ventilation, complex metal fabrications, and other shipboard support fabrications.
