SHIPPING & RECEIVING CLERK (IPC)

  •   2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or ship building/repair environment
  •   Must have knowledge of warehouse procedures
  •   Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  •   Must have knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the shipping/receiving field.  Requires little supervision.
  •  Ability to rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  •   Able to lift 35 pounds
  •   Must be familiar with international shipping guidelines and policies
  •   Must be familiar with RMA process (material returns)
  •   Able to operate a forklift and pallet jack
  •   Must have a valid, current driver’s license
  •   Must have basic computer skills such as MS Word and Excel.
  •  Has scanner knowledge
  •   Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented

PROJECT ENGINEER – EB1203 (IPC – VA)

Essential Functions May Include:

  • Ownership and accountability for project management and project engineering responsibilities
  • Project management including project estimating, scheduling and tracking
  • Control systems design, specification, programming, simulation, testing, and start-up
  • Electrical panel layout and electrical design
  • Development of bill of materials and wiring drawings and schematics
  • Development and implementation of standard engineering documentation including job bid packages, engineering drawings, engineering test plans, technical manuals etc.

Qualifications: 

  • MA/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Science or a related academic field plus 2 yrs directly related experience or BA/BS plus 5 yrs directly related experience or AA/AS plus 7 yrs directly related experience or 10 yrs directly related experience
  • Must have proven experience in PLC logic and programming with any of the following PLCs: Allen Bradley, Modicon, GE Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Omron, Toshiba, etc.; and HMI or SCADA programming and configuration of any of the following software packages Wonderware, Rockwell, Intellution, GE Cimplicity, Ci-Tech, Iconics, Siemens, US Data, Web Studio,etc.
  • Must have experience reading and red-lining electrical schematics and P&ID drawings
  • Must be able to gain access to all government worksites and controlled industrial areas
  • Must be able to work aboard ships, climb ladders, work in confined spaces and wear personal protective equipment
  • Must be knowledgeable and experienced in developing and troubleshooting entire PLC control systems
  • Must be able to work and communicate effectively with other team members and company employees
  • Power Related Experience (Preferred)

             -Shipboard AC Power Generation & Distribution (60 and 400Hz)

             -Short Circuit Analysis & Breaker Coordination Studies

              -Solid State Power Conversion – Transformer and Transformerless Designs

              -Uninterruptable Power Supplies

              -Variable Speed Drives

              -Power Filtering

              -Comfortable Performing Power Calculations

              -Familiar with Shipboard Electromagnetic Interference Requirements (MIL-STD-461)

               -Familiarity with Shipboard Power Quality Requirements (MIL-STD-1399-300)  

CNC MACHINIST (EPM – VA) – E1217

Position Summary:

  • Responsible for daily setup and operation of manual and CNC machines
  • Able to work various shifts and overtime as needed in a job shop environment
  • Perform in a cross-functional capacity as needed by management

Responsibilities:

  • Setup, program and manufacture jobs as required by detailed drawings
  • Follow detailed work instructions of each job and document progress on job travelers
  • Participate in required preventative maintenance of equipment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Able to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a manual or CNC Machinist
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints, technical drawings and sketches
  • Must have personally owned tools
  • Able to assemble machined or fabricated components as required
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Dependable attendance with reliable transportation
